How to play
Clanova is played in the comments of our reels, on Instagram and TikTok. Every reel is an episode of the world and comments are the moves. We read the comments of the reels from the last two weeks: under older ones nothing happens. You can write as many commands as you like: embers and growth come once a day, on any social network.
Commands
| Write | What it does | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| π₯ | You enter the world, with no sign-up: the game reads your comment and creates your hero with your @. Within a few minutes you can find it by searching your @ on the map. Writing it means you agree to appear on the map with your @. You must be at least 14 to play. | π₯ |
| π₯ π§ π± π¨ | Pick your clan: Fire (Ignara), Water (Marenia), Earth (Terrasca), Air (Ventora). With no element, the egg picks the clan with the fewest heroes. | π₯π₯ |
| π City | Your city: you live in its village, together with the heroes of your city and your clan. The game understands it even if it is misspelled, without accents or in another language. If you are already in the game without a city, add it whenever you like with just π. With no city and no flag you live in the Crossroads, at the foot of the Spire. | πNapoliπNaplesπSan Giorgio a Cremano |
| π¬π§ | Your country's flag. You don't need it: it only helps when the same city name exists in more than one country. πValencia on its own is the one in Venezuela, the biggest; with πͺπΈ it is the one in Spain. If you write only the flag, with no city, you live in your country's village. | πValencia πͺπΈπ₯π₯π¬π§ |
| K7Q2 | The code of the friend who invited you: a lantern lights up on their house. Every hero has a 4-character code, given by the game and shown on the hero's page, with a button to send it to friends. | π₯π₯ K7Q2 πLondon |
| βοΈ βοΈ | Heroine or hero. If you don't say, the game picks, and you can change it whenever you like. | π₯ βοΈ |
| π·οΈ Name | Your hero's nickname, 2 to 14 letters. You can change it once every 30 days. | π·οΈ Lunaria |
| @friend | Hang an unlit lantern on your house (also in the comment with π₯): it lights up when your friend joins with their π₯ on the same social network. For friends on another network or on WhatsApp, use your code. | @friend |
| π£ | Clan war: from 00:00 on Sunday to 06:00 on Monday (world time, UTC), comment π£ or your element's emoji. Once is enough: you bring points to your clan, a little more if your hero is strong (at most one and a half times as many). | π£ |
| 𧳠| Move house: with π§³π and a city you go to that city's village, with 𧳠and a flag to that country's village. You can do it once every 30 days. | π§³πRomeπ§³πͺπΈ |
| π ποΈ | Your @ shows above your hero from the moment you join. With π you hide it: only your hero's name stays, and searching for your @ no longer finds you. With ποΈ it shows again. It only works on your own @: the social network tells the game who wrote the comment, so nobody can hide or show someone else's @. | π |
| βπͺ | Leave the game. Write β and πͺ together, with no other words: this way a β meant as a "no" or a word like "stop" never makes you leave by mistake. Your hero disappears from the map within a few minutes and after 30 days your data are deleted. It is not for ever: if you come back with π₯ within 30 days, you get your hero back. | βπͺ |
How you grow
Nothing grows right away: what counts is the number of days you play. One comment a day is enough, under any of our Instagram or TikTok videos from the last two weeks: a command is fine, but so is a simple hello or an emoji. You can comment as often as you like and every command works, but for growing a day always counts as one, even if you write ten comments. The day is world time (UTC). You don't need to play every day in a row: if you skip a few days you lose nothing, and after 14 days without playing your dragon falls asleep until you come back.
| Egg | It hatches at the first midnight after you join: you wait one day at most. |
|---|---|
| Dragon | It is born a hatchling, becomes young after 12 days of play and adult after 35. |
| Items | Each day of play gives you 10 embers, double if you are behind the others or if the sky's omen falls on your clan: every midnight (UTC) one clan gets double embers for the whole day, and the News say which. Embers level up your 6 items on their own, one at a time, and you can see it from the glow: the first turns bronze within 3 days of play, all 6 within about 18. Silver, gold and prismatic cost more and unlock with the weeks of the season, which lasts 10 weeks: silver from week 3, gold from week 5, prismatic from week 8. |
| House | A tent at first, a hut after 3 days of play, a cottage after 10 days or 3 friends, a house with yard after 25 days or 8 friends, a tower with 25 friends or at the end of the season if you have an item at the top level. A friend counts when they join with your code and come back to play on another day. The house never shrinks. |
The clan war
Every Sunday the clans take each other on: from 00:00 on Sunday to 06:00 on Monday (world time, UTC), just comment π£ or your element's emoji once. The clan that answers most compared with its active heroes wins, meaning the heroes who played in the last 14 days: a small clan that shows up can beat a big one.
Only looks are for sale
Strength is earned only by playing. The shop sells colours, hairstyles, furniture and decorations at fixed prices: never levels, embers or loot boxes.
