Privacy
Clanova is a game you play from social media comments. Here is which data we use, why, and how to delete them.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the operator of Clanova. You can write to privacy@playclanova.com.
What we use
When you comment on one of our posts we read: your public @ and the identifier the social network gives us, the text of the comment and when you wrote it. If you write π₯ you create a hero: we keep its clan, the city you write after π and its country (or the country of your flag, if you only write the flag), nickname, the days you played and everything that happens to it in the game. The city only decides which village of the world your house is in: we never ask for your address. On the website we only use two technical cookies: one for the language and one to keep you signed in after π. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
If you buy in the shop, payment is handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which is the seller and handles tax: we receive only the transaction code, the items and the hero they belong to. If you open a tavern we keep the details you enter (name, logo, WhatsApp, social links, city, email); everything except the email is public.
Why
To run the game you joined by writing π₯ (your request), to deliver what you bought and to keep the game safe (moderation of nicknames and reports). We never sell data and we do not use them for advertising.
Who else sees them
Your @ and your hero are public on the map and on the website, because that is the game. Technical providers: Upload-Post (reading comments), Paddle (payments), our hosting provider. Data may be processed outside the EU only with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
How long
As long as you play. If you write βπͺ, your hero leaves the map within minutes and its data are deleted automatically after 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep for purchases. If you come back with π₯ before the 30 days are up, you get your hero back.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or export your data and object to their use, by writing to us or from Delete my data. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Age
To play you must be at least 14 (or the age your country sets for online services). To buy you must be 18.
